Ah! let us be ever wholly detached from everything besides God, having no concern for whatever trouble comes to us. Let all that is not God be as nothing to us. Let us contemplate the infinite goodness of God and forget ourselves. Let us offer all our reliance on emotions and sentiments as a sacrifice to Jesus Christ."
